Danske Life is Live 

Danske Bank are transforming their proposition and reviewing the experiences they provide for customers and stakeholders.

Danske employees are a key element in this change and the business is focused on including everyone on the journey to ‘Make More Possible’.

As part of this we worked closely with the Danske Communications and Digital teams to conceive and launch a new mobile product ‘Danske Life’ aimed at engaging, connecting and empowering Danske colleagues to improve their experience of working at Danske Bank.

Collaborative Ideation 

This was a truly collaborative project and the Origin team worked closed with the Danske teams to develop the Danske Life value proposition using workshops and gathering user research to ensure we understood and responded to the needs of the business and expectations of the users. The vision of the product was to include tools to help colleagues work better (e.g. Book Leave, Arrange Foreign Exchange, Staff Banking) but also crucially, to promote and facilitate collaboration and shared intelligence via a more social and content driven element within the App (Danske Network).

Successful Co-Production 

The Origin UX, design and development team worked hand in glove with the Danske digital team to plan, design an experience which is engaging, enjoyable and efficient to use. The App was launched as part of a communications roadshow across Danske’s regions in NI and initial uptake has far exceeded expectations, with over 50% of employees using the app within the first 1-2 weeks!

Continuous Improvement 

Danske Life is an evolving product and we are currently working on some exciting improvements and additions which will be rolled out in the summer!
